From April 18-22, team 2834, the Bionic Black Hawks, competed at the World Championship for the FIRST Robotics Competition in Houston, Texas. The Bionic Black Hawks are a world-renowned hall of fame team, inducted in 2018, and were thrilled to take part in this year’s championship. This event served as a strong finish to a successful season, in which the Black Hawks faced tough schedules, overcame engineering challenges, and won a district event in Traverse City. They are quite happy with this, their 15th season, and look forward to off-season events, outreach opportunities, and recruiting and planning for next year. The Black Hawks congratulate this year’s graduating seniors, and will return next year for another exciting season in 2024.

The Bionic Black Hawks will be hosting an informational meeting for all students entering 9th – 11th grade who are interested in joining the team on May 17th from 7 – 9 pm at the workshop, 2258 Franklin Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302.
