Excitement is building as the Bionic Black Hawks prepare to host the Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition (BGRC) on November 4th, along with co-hosts Las Guerrillas, Trucktown Thunder and the Argonauts. This event is a showcase of the abilities of girls in STEM, bringing together talented girls from Oakland County and beyond. BGRC will feature the girls of the 32 teams attending in the leading STEM roles with the goal of promoting science and technology education for girls. They will drive and maintain the robot, draft alliances, and play tournament matches. The Bionic Black Hawks are proud to host the girls tournament every year. The Black Hawks won a similar girls only event on the road over the summer and are looking to perform well in a competitive event at home. Everyone on the team will participate. While the girls are in the competition, the boys on the team will manage the event, serving as its volunteer staff. Everyone is welcome to attend the tournament at Bloomfield Hills High School on November 4th to witness the next generation of engineers and innovators in action. BGRC promises a day filled with excitement, learning, and inspiration while we recognize all of the talented girls throughout the program.  The competition begins at 8:45 am with the opening ceremonies at Bloomfield Hills High School, 4200 Andover Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302.
